Metropolitan area.
Using experienced Certified teaching pros
who use the latest and constructive drills/games,
Riverdale Tennis is proud to introduce its Adult
Championship Program. Located in Riverdale, our
adult program stretch each end of the tennis spectrum.
From Instructional clinics where we focus on swing
mechanics to Drill and Play clinics where you will
groove strokes and tennis strategy through numerous
drills and match play.
All drills/games in the Adult Programs
consists of repetitions of proper technique and the
usage of doubles and singles strategies—this includes
both construction and execution of a point. Programs
are available for Varsity USTA leagues and teams of

VIDEO LESSONS
Most tennis players would benefit greatly by
being able to see their mistakes on video and then being
able to see the corrected method side by side.
Riverdale Tennis now offers a video lesson
that will do just that and more. We will videotape you
during clinic or a private lesson and then prepare a DVD
showing your strokes with voice over from a coach telling
them what they are doing right and wrong, along with video
clips showing the proper way to hit the stroke (The voice
over critique can be done by the student’s private coach if
they have one).
The benefits of video lessons can be
immeasurable. Seeing oneself on screen and hearing a coach’s
critique and then seeing the correct way to do it while
having the capability to view it over and over again could
very easily be the equivalent of 5 private lessons or more.
It’s hard to quantify the benefits, but many difficult
corrections can only be made with the aid of video.
Below we offer several options for the video
lessons. Choose the one that’s right for you.
Video Clinic
The client will first be videotaped during
their clinic & then have a DVD prepared showing their
strokes with a voice over critique and video clips of the
correct way to do it: A great learning tool as well as a
keepsake.
Cost: $95 per session
Video Private
Get a one time video lesson on your private
lesson where the pro videotapes the student’s strokes, shows
them the video during the lesson, and then prepares a DVD
that will be sent to them showing their strokes with a voice
over explaining the proper techniques and video clips the
correct way to do it.
Contract series students:
Videotaping is done during one of your private lessons so
court and pro are included.
